Frequently Asked Questions

How do I delete my account?

Open MineDive → Settings → Delete Account. The button is permanent: it removes every row keyed by your account ID from our backend immediately. The same path satisfies GDPR / CCPA erasure requests.

How do I opt out of analytics?

Settings → Opt out of analytics. Telemetry events stop firing at source — nothing is queued or buffered. Re-enabling resumes from that moment forward.

I lost my progress after reinstalling. Can you recover it?

If you linked your Apple ID (Settings → Sign in with Apple), your save mirrors to our backend AND to your iCloud KV store. On reinstall, the app pulls the latest from both. If you never linked, the save lives only on the device that played the run — we have no copy.

I bought MineDive, why am I being asked to pay again?

iOS occasionally drops the receipt cache. Tap Settings → Restore Purchases — Apple re-grants entitlements for products on your Apple ID. No double-charge.

Does MineDive work offline?

Yes. Standard runs + the upgrade tree are fully offline. The Daily Puzzle needs a network round-trip on first download for the day's seed; once cached you can complete it offline.

Is there a free version?

The paid (no-ads) build is the launch ship. A free-to-play build with rewarded videos is on the roadmap but not active yet.

Does MineDive support VoiceOver?

Yes — the in-floor board exposes per-cell accessibility labels and the cosmetic-board glyphs use SF Symbols that VoiceOver announces. Settings → Accessibility has independent sliders for haptics, sound effects, and reduced motion.

Reporting a bug

Email support@twosquared.io with the following:

  • Device model and iOS version
  • MineDive build number (Settings → About)
  • Steps to reproduce — what you tapped, what happened, what you expected
  • Optional: tick “Include diagnostic info” in Settings → Support → Send Bug Report to attach the last few telemetry events + a save metadata snapshot. We delete the diagnostic bundle 180 days after the ticket resolves.
